"Diary of a Palm Reader", written by Myrna Lou Goldbaum is an interesting, informative, and a well written book that will keep your interest from cover to cover. Myrna Lou Goldbaum is a palmist, a psychic, and an author.
This is the second of three books that the author has written that I have read. In the past 53 years the author has read over 30,000 plus palms. She shares several of these readings in this book. She holds the interest of the reader from the beginning right up to the end. The Diary of a Palm Reader is an excellent choice for people of all ages. The author has a talent for giving information in an easy to understand manner that holds the readers interest, and makes them want to read more. I plan to keep this book in my library and will recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good reading book. The true life stories in this book are ones that people will relate to and will appeal to people of all ages, both men and women. I enjoyed this book very much. Erv Harmon
Covering a wide diversity of subjects, from Elvis to murder, incest to an out of control birthday party, this easy to read, perfect to dip-into little book has it all. The descriptions and stories behind Myrna Lou Goldbaum's palm reading sessions span over fifty years of readings. The stories are always entertaining, sometimes shocking, always insightful, and often deeply moving.
The book is very well presented, clearly indexed, and carefully set out. It has a wonderful insightful dedication, and lovely apt quotations at the end of every chapter. It even lists the seven reasons you should buy the book on the back page.
Buy the book, and keep it on your coffee table, or in your drawer at work to dip into now and again. Buy it for a friend or as a Mother's Day gift. I recommend it. Janet Darbey, BA Honours English Freelance Writer, Editor, Book Reviewer Published writer of articles, short stories and novels
